ADIDAS CARDHOLDER PRIVACY INFORMATION – NOVEMBER 2024

To issue, activate and manage the prepaid credit card (“Card”) which you have signed up for, adidas AG and/or the adidas company named in your adidas agreement (“adidas”) collect and process personal data such as your name, phone number, date of birth, and e-mail address. (“Identity and Contact Data”).    

In addition, adidas will collect and process personal data relating to your transactions with the Card (“Transaction Data”). The Transaction Data includes information about the value, the time and place of the transaction as well as your Card balance. adidas will process the Transaction Data to create internal reports and, if applicable, reports for your management on your use of the Card. This allows adidas to gain insights about the use, success as well as potential issues of the Card program and/or to comply with obligations towards your management. In addition, processing the Transaction Data will allow adidas to support you with any requests related to transactions.

Your Identity and Contact Data as well as your Transaction Data will be stored and processed on EML’s platform. For details regarding EML’s processing of your personal data we refer to EML’s privacy policy.

ANALYSIS OF UNSUCCESSFUL TRANSACTIONS AND REPORTING

Occasionally, transactions with your Card may not go through. Therefore, if you are affected by such an unsuccessful transaction, adidas will compare your e-mail address with transaction data pertaining to your order at the adidas store to analyze the cause of the unsuccessful transaction.
