Herzogenaurach, April 23, 2004 - North America's third adidas Originals Store opens in Boston today. The store, located in the city's historical Harvard Square, presents the adidas Spring/Summer 2004 Originals collection in over 4,700 square feet (437 m²) of retail space.
"Building on the success of the New York and Miami stores, adidas is very excited to extend the unique experience that only an Originals store can offer," said Erich Stamminger, Member of the Executive Board of adidas-Salomon AG responsible for Global Marketing and North America. "Like Soho and South Beach, the Boston location has its own character. Our strength is that our authentic origins and timeless designs appeal to style-conscious consumers the world over."
adidas currently has 14 Originals Stores worldwide including Tokyo, Singapore, Berlin, Milan and Munich. Earlier this year adidas opened stores in Manchester, Sapporo and Sendai. Additional stores are scheduled to open in key metropolitan markets in the US, Europe and Asia in 2004.
