adidas-Salomon AG Announces Voluntary Recall of Two Basketball Shoe Models

adidas-Salomon AG announced today a voluntary recall due to a problem with the materials of two basketball shoes, the adidas Superstar Ultra and Pro Team Shoes. These models were sold during 2004 at adidas stores, major athletic shoe stores, independent shoe stores and on the company's website. In the United States, adidas-Salomon is recalling the models in cooperation with the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
