In order to be able to manage the environmental risks within our supply chain, we need to first understand them. To do that, we developed and implemented our Supplier Risk Assessment Tool and Environmental Assessment Tool, which rank our footwear, apparel and accessories & gear suppliers according to their level of environmental risk. This in turn has helped us to develop targeted training or capacity building programmes for our suppliers as well as appropriate standards and policies.
Over the next few years, we will be focusing on data reporting and setting quantified targets for our strategic suppliers while ensuring traceability throughout the supply chain.
