Kirsten Keck is Corporate PR Manager for the adidas Group. In her role, Kirsten is a global spokesperson. Focus topics include Human Resources, Legal, IT, the business impact of football and regional topics related to Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as Latin America.
Kirsten was born in Wuerzburg, Germany, in 1974. She studied English and French Linguistics as well as American Literature in Wuerzburg, Germany and Austin/Texas, USA. During her studies, Kirsten completed internships in various PR-related fields and organizations.
After graduating in 2001, Kirsten joined the IBM Germany trainee program which included an external certification as PR consultant. Afterwards, Kirsten held various positions at IBM in Germany and abroad, among them coordinating Software, Systems and Executive PR in the emerging markets Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Kirsten joined the Corporate Communication Team of the adidas Group in October 2006. So far, besides her role as a global spokesperson for corporate topics, her responsibilities included building media relationships for Human Resources topics as well as business communication with regard to UEFA EURO 2008TM and the 2010 FIFA World Cup South AfricaTM.
In her free time, Kirsten likes running, working out at the gym, yoga and snowboarding. She is also interested in fashion and travelling and is a passionate cook. Kirsten is married, has one son and currently lives in Nuremberg, Germany.
