Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of adidas AG - in accordance with the German Co-Determination Act (Mitbestimmungsgesetz - MitBestG) is composed of twelve members, of which six members are elected by the Annual General Meeting and six members are elected by the employees.

Election of the Supervisory Board 2009

The term in office of all members of the Supervisory Board expired with the end of the Annual General Meeting of adidas AG on May 7, 2009.

Dr. Hans Friderichs, Dr. Manfred Gentz, Fritz Kammerer and Klaus Weiß did not stand for re-election to the Supervisory Board.

The Annual General Meeting of May 7, 2009 has elected Herbert Kauffmann and Alexander Popov to the Supervisory Board as new shareholder representatives. Dr. Stefan Jentzsch, Igor Landau, Willi Schwerdtle and Christian Tourres have been re-elected to the Supervisory Board.

On March 30/31, 2009, the employees of adidas AG have newly elected Dieter Hauenstein and Dr. Wolfgang Jäger to the Supervisory Board. Sabine Bauer, Roland Nosko, Hans Ruprecht and Heidi Thaler-Veh have been re-elected by the employees.

At its constituent meeting, which took place immediately after the Annual General Meeting, the newly composed Supervisory Board has elected Igor Landau as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Sabine Bauer and Willi Schwerdtle have been elected as new Deputy Chairpersons.

The term in office of the Supervisory Board members expires with the end of the Annual General Meeting 2014.
