Recruitment - Post Application Process


As you can imagine, the human resources department works very hard to provide each an every applicant with a quick response following the submittal of the application. We would like to provide you with additional detail to allow you to better understand what happens once you submit an application.

Each job is assigned to an HR manager or a recruiter that is responsible for managing a specific type of role for their functional department. The HR manager or recruiter reviews each and every application to see if it is a possible fit for the role applied to. Once the HR manager reviews the application they will provide you with an update within one week of submittal. The communication typically comes in the form of an email that would be sent back to you at the address on which you submitted your application.

If we don’t feel that your background is a match for the position applied for, we will review it against other job openings to see if we could inform you of other roles. If we don’t have any relevant roles at that point in time, we would keep your information on file for 12 months, and consider you for future opportunities. If you would like to remove your profile from our database, you can request this through the online tool by visiting your account profile.

If the HR manager or recruiter feels that your profile is a match for the applied for position, they will then share the information with the respective hiring manager. This process usually takes up to one additional week depending on the manager availability. At this point the next step in the process would typically involve scheduling a phone interview where you could find out more about the adidas Group and the role, and we could find out more about you.

At the conclusion of the phone interview, we would determine whether or not we would move forward with a face to face meeting with the hiring manager. If both you and the hiring manager are interested, an interview will typically be coordinated through the HR manager or recruiter including directions, schedule, and travel requirements.

Your HR contact or recruiter will work closely with you through the interview process to ensure that you have all of the relevant information required to take this through to a potential offer process.
